Abstract

|
We have experineced a case of neurofibromatosis type I(IF-1) associated with tumoral and nontumoral complication of central nervous system. NF-1 is an entity with wide pathological spectum from neuroectodermal to mesenchymal origin, and the
intraparenchymal cavernous angioma has been rarely reported. Primary aqueduct stenosis with no evidence of periaqueductal neoplams also has been described rarely in the literatures. Through the review of literature, the strong possibilities of
common
genetic defect leading to these conditions and their clinical features are discussed.
